Mallika, a cross between Neelum mango and Dasheri mango… This fibre-free fruit offers a very nice fusion of flavors of Dasheri, Langra, Neelum and has a relatively better shelf life in humid weather. Mallika seems to be a result of much research which was based on marketing feedback - to develop a table mango that is fiber-free, superlatively sweet, good sized, vibrant yellow when ripe, high on shelf life and capable of growing to same quality parameters across India. Mallika tends to carry the good qualities of both Dasheri as well as Neelum. Our farmer is the same as last year - NPOP certified organic from Hardoi, exports much of his produce.
