Crafted in small batches using the traditional sun-cooked method, this gulkand marries the mellow clarity of Dhaga Mishri (rock sugar) with the floral depth of Damask (Damascena) rose petals.
What's It & How We Make It
Our Mishri Gulkand is 60% Dhaga Mishri and 40% hand-picked, certified organic Damask rose petals. The whole mixture is layered and sun-cooked, allowing the sugar to gently extract, preserve and amplify the rose’s volatile oils and natural aroma - producing a soft, glossy preserve with restrained sweetness and perfume-forward character. The rock sugar (dhaga mishri) is produced using traditional methods for a clean, mineral-rounded sweetness that differs from refined sugar.
