Leeks are a long bundle of leaf sheath with a mild sweet oniony flavor. Leeks add a lot of flavors to dishes. It can be used in soups, salads, and for garnishing dishes. Leeks are rich in flavonoids, especially one called kaempferol. These bundle of leaf sheath are rich in vitamin K, and have high water and fiber content.
